Its so lovely to hear from you – and I’m so glad that this came at the right time for you! Best wishes with all your teaching – I feel like we’ve known you for years now, and its so lovely to hear your incredible teaching stories. We’ve all fallen into those holes of self-blame, I think its a human thing! I’ll be wishing you well this year as you take on more challenges.

I am so glad that this popped into my email this evening, It’s been a rough go this year and this is the exact reason! Everyone is so loud. And here you are with your email. How does this continue to happen? You always seem to be right there when I slip into a dark whole, lighting my way out of a pit of self-blame!
I’ve known I’ve needed to make changes but I was at a loss as to what to try next. Thank you so much for sharing the three S’s. I really like STATE and will be focusing on that next week which leads into our spring break.
You may remember in my desperation 2007 and your printable games saved my sanity. I was a long term sub in a high school piano class with 27 students and nine mini keyboards. Later when I finally got my credential and started teaching, BoomWhacker Beatz rescued me and my students from blah and boring and are now a staple in my general music classes, no one else in my district had boomwhackers now most do!
